Made famous as a member of the chart-topping R&B group Pretty Ricky, fan favorite Spectacular has stepped out on his own with his debut single “She Don’t Love U” featuring Rich Homie Quan and Compton Menace, from his first ever solo project “Sex God” coming soon. The sexy RnB crooner has also established himself as a thriving entrepreneur as the CEO of his label Mula Music Group, home to Actor/Rap Artist OG 2Tone (Straight Outta Compton), whose new single “Put On” featuring Chris Brown has received 1.7 million views on YouTube and counting.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Spectacular rose to fame as a member of the popular R&B group “Pretty Ricky” alongside his brothers Pleasure P, Baby Blue and Slick’em. The group’s first hit single “Grind With Me” released in ’05, charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #1 for five consecutive weeks and would go on to be certified Gold. The group’s overnight success landed them a record deal with Atlantic Records where they released their debut album in ‘05 titled Bluestars. The project sold 30,000 units a week for 36 weeks and was later certified Gold. Their second single “Your Body” would chart at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and that summer, they landed on the coveted Scream Tour IV with fellow artists Omarion, Bow Wow, Chris Brown and Bobby V.
In ’06, Pretty Ricky would go on to release their Platinum-selling single “On the Hotline,” which stayed at #1 for five consecutive weeks, along with their second single “Push It Baby,” from their sophomore album Late Night Special, which topped the Billboard 200 album charts. After releasing their self-titled third album Pretty Ricky in ’09 and a mixtape titled Sex Music Vol. 1: Streets N The Sheets, the group reemerged in 2015 to release their hit single “Puddles,” which became the #1 requested song on South Florida’s major radio station 99JAMZ for 30 consecutive days. Much to the delight of their fans, the original members of Pretty Ricky embarked on a Reunited Tour across the world, starting in Australia and ending in Miami.
Along with the massive success garnered with Pretty Ricky, Spectacular has stepped out on his own with his debut single and upcoming project, while taking the reins as the CEO of his label Mula Music Group, and his highly successful Internet marketing company, Adivizar. The Miami native is also about to add author to his list of titles, with the upcoming release of his new book Spectacular Love: How to Make Good Love Last.
“My main focus right now is becoming an entrepreneur. My goal is to be the next Master P, Jay Z and Diddy when it comes to business and expanding my empire,” Spectacular says. With a mentor like Master P at his side, Spectacular is well on his way to becoming a staple in the music and entertainment industry.
